Trinity writes realistic kink! Trinity came up in the Atlanta BDSM scene in the mid-90s and has been an active BDSM and poly person for two decades. She’s a kink educator, having traveled the Southeast from the Carolinas to Louisiana, teaching classes about kink and D/s. Her particular passions are protocol, ritual, and rope, which readers will see reflected in her books. And, of course, hot sex!
She also loves to attend conventions and conferences, both vanilla writing conferences and kink events. Travel is one of her passions; she’s been to twenty of the fifty states and ten countries outside the United States. Otherwise, she can be found at home with her hubby, who doubles as her muse, and three often temperamental cats. Follow her on Twitter: @Trinity_writes.

I’m super excited to be talking to you! Readers and writers are some of my very favorite people. I’m also happy to be able to bring my BDSM erotic romance, Caly’s Game, to you.
Caly’s Game began as a personal challenge. See, I’ve been editing erotic romance professionally since 2008; I love working with authors and I love seeing the worlds they’ve created. I’ve been practicing BDSM since the mid-90s and have a whole lot of real world experience. I’ve been writing since I was a kid, but only more seriously in the last ten years. But I’d never written a BDSM erotic romance novel. Weird, huh?
So for National Novel Writing Month in 2013, I decided to challenge myself even beyond the crazy act of writing a book in 30 days. I challenged myself to write a great BDSM erotic romance in 30 days. And I managed to do it! Well… since it was a rapidly written first draft, I don’t know that I’d call that initial version “great,” really, but I at least had something to work with!
BDSM is the community in which I live, so it’s important to me to represent it well and with integrity. One of the my goals with Caly’s Game is to help dispel the idea that women who are drawn to submission are passive or weak or broken, or that they must always be a specific height-weight proportion, or that they must come from an abusive background, or that they must be naive and gullible. I wanted to show that a healthy BDSM relationship relies on both trust and ongoing consent. But I wanted all those things in the context of a fun, steamy story, without being preachy. Who wants to be preached at when reading erotic romance? I feel like I succeeded. I hope you agree!
I have plans for more stories in the BDSM community I’m creating in Caly’s Game — I’m already working on the next book! If you continue on this exploration with me, you’ll meet other characters, experience more and varied hot, sexy, kinky scenes (with and without rope!), and see how BDSM can really work. I hope you come along.
I’m on Twitter more than any other social media (@Trinity_writes), so feel free to say hi! Like I said, readers and writers are my favorite folks!
Thanks for going on this journey with me!
Caly Arling is a headstrong, independent attorney who has always been the hunter when it came to getting men into bed. As a fat chick, she learned a long time ago to grab her world by the horns. She doesn’t do relationships; she takes what she wants and sends the man on his way. When Caly meets sexy architect Evan Morrell, her world is thrown topsy-turvy. He doesn’t respond to her advances the way she’s used to men responding—yet he seems interested. Evan pulls her from her game of hunter/prey into his, which includes rope, blindfolds, and spanking benches. Can Caly break old habits in order to explore this world that she finds intriguing with this man who inspires the most staggering emotions she’s ever experienced?
